Today it is one year since the death of captain Phil Harris from the Discovery series Deadliest Catch.

It will be a weird thing to watch the show withouth captain Phil there when season 7 starts in a few months.

I miss him.

I second Aethian's comment. I feel like it was just the beginning of this winter i told my husband that he was gone.

We are a tad behind in the series here. Dad did tell me about him passing on last year, but we only had the episode about it here about a month ago. Even the show is different now with out him on it.

Doesn't even seem possible that it's been a year. I even had the pleasure of meeting Phil & Josh when they came to my town about a year & a half before he died. Had a great time getting to talk with him.
