The other afternoon on my way home from the gym, I saw that gas had risen 5 cents, except at the Kwik Trip directly across the street, it was still 2.34, and I was at about half a tank anyway, so it wouldn't be a total waste to fill up. And I needed some smokes, too, so why not.
I paid and was on my way out, and a guy was holding the door open for me. He had a huge smile on his face. I mean, ear to ear. He was probably no older than 18-20, looked like a Hollister poster boy with blonde, shaggy hair and a zip hoodie and a plain brown coat with fur along the hood. Not a bad looking young guy, if I must say.
But I was a little taken aback by that smile.....was he being a creepy guy, or was he just that happy?
Well, I found out quickly enough.
I smiled and thanked him for leaving the door open for me, and I got the biggest whif of POT. I mean, it was practically permeating from his pores!
No wonder he was so happy!
