Yay we got in

J and I have been looking for a new place come mid-May as our lease will be up on the 25th and I like having a few days for moving and we are going to the Steampunk World's Fair. We have been having a hard time finding a place where we can fit all of our stuff (we have always had roommates but pretty much all of the living room furniture has always been ours), that we don't hate, and that we can afford without roommates. We found out that an apartment complex that we used to live in and that we loved had one bedrooms that met all of those requirements, the only problem is that they go fast and they already had a waiting list. We decided to go ahead and put ourselves on the list and hope for the best, while continuing to look around. That was a couple weeks ago and we got the call today that they have one that will come available May 11th. We go in tomorrow to fill out some paperwork but everything is pretty much all good to go. I can't tell you how excited I am, we've had some nice apartments but this place was the only one that ever really felt like a home and I kind of need that right now.

Yay! Congratulations!

I'm kinda hoping to move come November...I have until September to figure it out. Guess I should start working on it. Don't know what my roommate wants to do, but I don't particularly want to be here another year. Ideally, I would like to not have a roommate but the odds of finding a decent 1 bedroom for less than half my monthly take home pay are slim to none around here.
