  • Jester! or any cocktail aficianados

I need one but I don't know what to make. I has bananas, oranges, rum, creme de cacao, brandy, vermouth (sweet, I think), heavy cream, creme de menthe, and some frozen red tart cherries. Any ideas? I'm thinking cold and creamy.

I don't know what to tell you, other than to use what you have an experiment. What you have does sound like it's an experiment calling out for the blender, but beyond that, I would just say have fun with it.

Add a bottle of vodka and there would be the makings of a plethora of girl martinis and various summer fruit drinks.

How about something like vodka, creme de cacao, a dash of vermouth, and the cherries for a chocolate cherry martini?

Maybe you could try that with the rum.

Throw the fruit in the blender with the rum and cream, that might be good.

Your mileage may vary. I'm not a bartender. But I do like girl drinks.

Equal parts brandy, creme de cacao, and cream will yield a Brandy Alexander (which you could call a chocolate martini)

Similarly, equal parts cream, creme de cacao, and creme de menthe is a Grasshopper.

Looking at the list again, were it me with that on hand, I would definitely break out the blender, and I am not a frozen drink kind of person. But into the blender I would toss the fruit, the rum, the creme de cacao, the heavy cream, and ice cream or ice. That would be a lovely fruity boozy smoothie. All you'd need is an umbrella or two for the drinks, and you'd be set.

Haha I totally fell asleep in my chair and never got to making the drink. I've been doing that lately.
