Memorial Day Weekend

Any of my fellow USA-ians have plans for this weekend? My parents, sister, and I are going up to Denver. In fact, we're leaving in a couple of hours. We're going to do some shopping (for example, my dad needs a fancy suit for my sister's wedding), lots of eating, and a trip to the Celestial Seasonings tea factory. :3 Should be a fun time.

The Rum family is thinking of going to the West Lawn of the Capitol in DC and join in with the others for the Memorial Day concert that is on the 29th of May. Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise are hosting it.

I have a show tomorrow and Hubby is off work on Monday, so we'll go and visit my grandfather's grave and pay our respects before I go play with fabric.

Bleh. I'm working telephone triage this weekend, and Monday is not a holiday at my community college, so I will be in class.

It's been very windy here in the high desert this year & will be thru the weekend.We were complaining about the wind 'til we saw Joplin.Our winds are hardly an annoyance.....

I has my wolfie staying with me, and we're going to do some fun stuffs, like movies and zoo and whatnot and just spend time together. I cooked dinner for him tonight.

I have to work every day except Sunday. Hoping to be a total slouch that day. Also, I'm working Monday but an earlier shift than usual and I heard it's going to be verrrryyy slowww. We plan to order some pizzas and make a party out of it.

Worked Friday, have to work Sunday and Monday - but our company pays time and a half for Monday since its technically a holiday. Today is the family reunion so there'll be lots of eating and Frisbee golf. Its not much different than a normal weekend for me but I will love the extra pay from Monday.

Worked today. Will be working tomorrow and Monday. This seven day work week thing sucks.

There has to be something going on at the base but I'm not sure what.

Hopefully we can make it this weekend without IDF. That'd be a nice Memorial Day Weekend.

My D&D group normally meets on Sundays, but we decided to meet on Monday this week since everyone has the day off. We're going over to one of our players' houses and grilling a bunch of goodies. He's providing meat and veggie skewers, I'm providing baked beans, corn on the cob, and fresh pineapple, another guy should be bringing hot dogs and buns, and someone else is bringing beverages. And we're going to kill monsters. Can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon, honestly.

Baby Girl has to work all weekend. That sucks because I feel like I don't get to spend enough time with her.

The little guy is going to watch scary movies with me all Weekend.

The big guy will spend all his time on the web cam with his girl, but will come downstairs if I need his help.

Mr. Mis is going to spend all his time with me and help me recover.

I will be spending all my time in the house trying to recover from surgery. You guys should bring some of your Memorial day feast to my home.
