Hi Everyone. I'm a checkout operator (or sevice assistant as it's now called) for Coles Supermarket in Queensland Australia. I'ts great reading all the stories people post and finding that some have worse horror stories to tell than I could ever have imagined. Honestly people, there are really scarey customers out there. Maybe one day we will be able to have them arrested for their crimes against humanity. Sigh. A girl can dream.

Hello and welcome from a fellow Aussie

I've been to Queensland, it's a really nice place. If I didn't live in Perth, my next choice would be to live there. Once you start visiting this site it can become a bit addictive, cause it's a great place to vent (i'm sure you get sucky customers working at Coles. A friend of mine worked there and she hated it, lol...sorry.)
I ride the time, it unfolds a new day,
another time, this world would fade away
To find true love, is like no other joy,
    our choice is here
    be happy for today

You mean you're an aussie too, Cominatcha? I thought I was one of the (very very) few on here...

And where I live, we've had more rain in the last 9 days then we've had in the last 5 years.

Actually, we've had quite a few current and former members from Australia here. In fact, the guy who posted the famous "Vinegar Boy" story was from there, and at one time I think three of our moderators were from there.

I thought that story was by an aussie... Always meant to ask about that. Now I know for sure. Speaking of, does he still exist in the world of the internet/cs?

Haven't seen Aaron in here in quite sometime. I think it's been a couple years. I hope he finds his way back here. He is missed.

When I visited Australia, the gas station where he worked was pointed out to me. I should have taken a picture.

On another note, a belated to CS, Coles checkout chick

What? You mean to tell me you were there, and didn't stop in to buy some vinegar, maybe even ask if it was OK to drink it? I am so disappointed.

Welcome from me, too! I remember reading this thread and I could have sworn I wrote something. Apparently not. Oh, well, here it is!
