After a long and difficult decision my wife and I have decided it is best for Pollux for us to find him a new home. My wife needs to start looking for (even out of one of our own litters) a replacement service dog for Kiri plus two litters of puppies planned this year we just won't have the time and energy for him.

I'll miss him. I just hope we can find a good home for him, local would be best so we can still see him and have another vlcak in the vicinity.

I remember you had said you had some issues with Pollux, but I can't remember what they were.

Nooooooo! I hope you find a local too! Maybe at that Lupine Association you met up with?
(Pollux iirc wasn't socialized all that well, and Draggar fixed it! )

His issues are mainly with him being very skittish at unpredictable times (he'll bolt and he's big and strong). We've worked on a lot of his issues and he's a far better dog now than he was last year.

The issues are mainly because of severe neglect in his upbringing before we got him.

I didn't fix it - my wife did most of the work. I just did the fun parts.
