Last night I met with the investor after work. The company is a done deal and as soon as he works out a couple of deals on accounts, we're in business. He talked to me a lot about our long-term goals, there is serious money to be made here. Not immediately, but I'm very hopeful. And now there's no more worrying that he'll change his mind or back out on us. He wants this as much as we do and he's impressed by our determination to make it happen, and our competence to be able to actually make it happen and not run the company into the ground.
So last night I felt awesome.
This morning I found out a preauthorized payment that I didn't think was supposed to come out til NEXT Friday hit, along with a payment I knew was coming out, and now I have a whopping bank balance of $-.09. And I don't get paid for 10 days. After panicking and crying all over my counselor (she's awesome, she's been writing off my sessions for the last month due to my financial situation I found out), I've been able to call everyone I owe money to and they've been very nice about waiting until next week to get their money and not turn all my stuff off and/or break my kneecaps.
I have a $40 dog crate I can return to walmart, since I gave the dog back to my parents, so that will give me at least money to buy some groceries to get by on meager meals and such. Aside from that, if I only go to work and back, I shouldn't need gas for the car... hopefully.
Someday I'm finally going to catch a break. I will get ahead for once. I firmly believe this. It's just the waiting for it and trying to survive in the meantime that sucks.
