What does "Eleventy" mean and does anybody know how the use of it got started? I see it all over this site. Since it's often in all caps I'm guessing it means an overreaction ... ?

I think it has something to do with complainers that over use the exclamation (!) key and getting some 1s in there instead.
For example:
"I hate your store and all your employees are morons!!!!11!!"
Plus, "eleventy" is a word sometimes used by young children who have not quite grasped counting yet, thus stressing the sometimes childish behavior of some complainers. Also, I don't think it is only Customerssuck where you see the expression. I've seen it on all kinds of forums.My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. Yes, flybye is correct.
Often people who overuse exclamation marks typo at some point - their finger slips off the shift key, resulting in !!!!!11111!!!!11!11!!1!1!!!1111 sorts of effects.
Eventually, someone started making a joke of it. !!!!!111eleven.
Which naturally led to !!!!!!111eleventy.
Which sometimes gets shortened to 111eleventy or just eleventy.
I've even seen 'one one one eleventy'.Seshat's self-help guide:
1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

There was also a show called 'Kids next door' that made fun of adults (so very popular with children) that used eleventy. *shrugs*Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.Comment

I like uran dictionay's versions. (LotR ref ftw!)
that and i thought it was basically someone using the shift key with alot of exclamations and it slips and a few 1's make it in and the person doesn't correct it before sending/clicking postComment
