          Actually I didn't realise that the name was slang for that and I grew up reading The Faraway Tree.....

                After living quite a few years in the UK (now back in the U.S.) I still cringe when I hear someone going on about a "fanny pack" (that's a bum bag in the UK).

                Oh, and I was living in the UK when the whale movie "Free Willie" came out - why on earth they didn't change the name to release it there, I'll never know, but I don't think I ever heard an announcer mention it without cracking up.

                Madness takes it's toll....
