  • I think I've overextended myself. =(

I should probably make a calendar and start checking off days. Or bribing myself, or something. I need to make it through about New Year's with a solid minimum 12hrs a day of work without burning out (eeeep). Any suggestions for avoiding burnout? How did everyone make it through school finals etc?

Right now I have my professional freelance work, art for a card game that's being published, the last semester of my bachelor's degree, and the comic anthology I'm working on and editing, and they all finish up between Dec 15th and New Year's.

I'm staying home for Christmas and eating Chinese takeout in bed I think, haha.

I hear ya. I've been working a lot of overtime for hospice lately, plus doing some consulting work, plus working my full time job, plus orienting for a new job that starts in November, at which time I will be working full time PLUS two part time jobs for 10 weeks.

      Agh!

I'm in the middle of that myself, I just finished really big craft show, which means now my email box is exploding with "I want a huge t-shirt quilt by Christmas!" despite the fact that at the show itself I was telling everyone that I was already fully booked for this year. *sigh*

So again it looks like I won't be sleeping from now until Christmas, as usual.
