Getting my degree shouldn't be this hard.

I just got an email saying the following:

"I just received an application for graduation. I have shredded it. You must go online and fill it out."

... yeah. Problem. The online application isn't for December, when I should be graduating. That online system was not working for over a month and now that they've gotten it working there's only a spring application anymore. Everyone has told me that I should be able to file a paper application but apparently you don't agree with them. So this basically boils down to "we don't feel like filing a sheet of paper for you, so you're not graduating until May."

Thanks guys. This totally doesn't screw over all of my job applications and plans to actually work and support myself -- oh wait, right, yes it does.

Whoever sent that email was an asshole. I'd go down to the office and raise some hell. (Politely, of course. I'd raise polite hell.)
