Very random iTunes question

Is there a way to change my region in iTunes to download something from the French site? It's not available in the States iTunes yet, and Amazon is sold out.

If oyu launch iTunes and go into the iTunes Store, then scroll all the way down to the bottom, you'll find a circle with a flag in it signifying your region. CLick that and you can change it.

However, I do not think this will allow you to make purchases, since you probably don't have a French billing address on your iTunes account.

Also, wouldn't you get charged in Euros instead? I'm not too sure if some credit cards would handle that.

You may be right with that - saying this because I recall (although vaguely) having that problem when I wanted to get something off Itunes which wasn't available here in the US.

It's telling me my iTunes login is only good for US purchases.

It's called "A Monster in Paris". No idea when it comes out in the states, but it's coming out in the UK in January.

I have an iTunes Japan account I use to download stuff there from time to time, you need to set up a new account with iTunes in France. You may need to fake a French Address for it to take. You can probably buy iTunes Gift Cards in Euros online somewhere (like I buy iTunes Japan gift cards in Yen from J-list)
