I noticed that my city is considering allowing shopping during the stat holidays for all retail stores, not just ones with the tourist designation! 
What this means for you could be more sucky customers, cursed-out coworkers and morons in management, especially on precious non-sucky days that you thought were designed for you to spend with your family and friends!
But now, the city wants our input on this. Here is a link to the survey:
