My boyfriend of 5 years proposed to me! Now when I dominate people in TF2 I do it with a pretty diamond ring on my finger.

I've decided I want to do a steampunk themed wedding. I'm still deciding on my Maid of Honor but my fiance and I have chosen the Flower Girl. I'm really not looking forward to planning the whole thing but it should be worth it in the end.

I know it'll be worth it to call my love my husband.

Steampunk is a style reminiscent of H.G. Wells' books (Victorian/Edwardian styles, lots of brass, steam-type technology). See here for examples.

I quite like Steampunk, it's both futuristic and retro, and quite pretty. A steampunk wedding will require a lot of planning, but it should be quite fun and I'd love to see pictures.
