  • Thanks for the heads up

I just got to work and found out that a guest is having a pool party, they sent out invitations and everything, too bad they didn't tell anyone at the resort. Thank goodness this is one of the slowest weeks we have have this year or we would be having some real problems, as it is the pool is pretty close to capacity and we only have 3 people in there who aren't part of this party.

Today is going to be a fun day.

And of course no one can tell them they got lucky and need to plan better next time by maybe booking the pool.

I'm thinking "GTFO" would be a good response to those guests...lol. Hope it went better than expected.

The kids were actually fairly well behaved, just energetic and loud in that ear-piercing way that only 12 year old girls can be, and they were in the pool for about 4 hours. Thankfully we keep some Advil at the desk so my headache didn't get too bad.

My birthday is in February. I grew up in the rainiest area on the continent. I had quite a few birthday parties at a local indoor pool. There's not much else to DO on the west coast in February. And if you're already wet, what's not to like about being wet and WARM?
