  • Lack Of Free Wi-fi Causes Woman To Slice Her Thumb

Incredible SC logic at work. Needs free wi-fi at Trader Joe's.

Wow. Just...wow. That's all I have to say about this article. Well, that and 'What the heck ever happened to looking up a recipe at home, writing all the stuff down you'll need for it, and *then* going out to shop for said stuff?'

So, instead of waiting for the avocados to ripen and to eat them then and to eat something else for her lunch the next day, she tries to cut up an unripened avocado? Even if she'd successfully cut it up without injuring herself, eating it would have been unpleasant and it would most likely have given her stomach cramps. There's a biological reason we don't eat unripened fruits and veggies. Moron and self-intitled nitwit.

It's a sad sign of the times when you can't remember something and have to rely on looking it up.

Ok..I realize I am a bit out of it right now. So maybe some wires got crossed somewhere. Person cuts their thumb..and it is because Trader Joe's didn't have wifi? I ... fail to see the connection.

That's what I'm wondering! It's not that hard to print out or write the recipes out by hand to take with you when you shop! It never ceases to amaze me how incredibly stupid people can be!

I'm sure Trader Joe's has WiFi for internal use. For them to invest in the additional security and bandwidth to support free public WiFi, they need to justify that with increase sales.

Unlike Best Buy, Apple, Staples, etc. they are not filled with the latest electronic gadgets to try and hopefully buy.

It sound like the OP needs to learn common sense, and better knife skills.

The staff members of that blog or paper or whatever are on board with the "suggestion." I'm shocked, really I am.

Betcha her "loyalty" to Trader Joe's would vanish completely once they raised their prices to pay for the wi-fi equipment and service.

                          The author needs to:

A.) Get a better phone that doesn't need wi-fi to access the internet inside a store, or
B.) Plan ahead and print out her recipes at home, and
3.) Have all knives confiscated from her home. Including the butter knives and the disposable plastic ones that can't cut soft butter.

Lastly, thanks to this I now have a new blog to add to my favorites list: http://whitewhine.com/
