  • The largest and most beautiful restaurant operating in Grand Forks!

Viral sensation Marilyn Hagerty presents her review of the newly-opened Olive Garden in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

She first brought me the familiar Olive Garden salad bowl with crisp greens, peppers, onion rings and yes — several black olives. Along with it came a plate with two long, warm breadsticks.
Several black olives? You don't say!

The chicken Alfredo ($10.95) was warm and comforting on a cold day. The portion was generous. My server was ready with Parmesan cheese.
The server was ready with Parmesan cheese? Holy fuckfarts this is awesome!

I really hate to bag on an 85-year-old lady, but this reads like an Onion piece. I can just as easily see Don Turnbee's name on it.

Also, having been through North Dakota a couple times, I have zero doubt the Olive Garden is the complete shizzle to the people who live there.

ETA: here's her review of a place where eating is an adventure.

Read other Marilyn columns, buy her e-book, wear her T-shirt.

    I'm bringing disdain back...with a vengeance.

Oh, and your tool box called...you got out again.

I think it's sweet. I like to see people made happy, even if it is by things that other people think are dumb. I'm glad she had a nice meal and took the time to write about it, since most people just like to complain all the time. I don't know why everyone on the Internet is making fun of this nice lady.

Me, too. I was wondering what the big deal was.
