  • Instant Attitude Adjustment--just add fur

A regular customer brought a one-month-old pit bull puppy into the store (didn't want to leave her in the car). Technically, non-service animals aren't even supposed to be on the property but manager P wrapped the fuzzy in her apron and kept her up at the front end (if you didn't know, it looked like she was just holding a baby for someone).

    So. Freaking. CUTE.

Awww, all puppies are cute. I've read that petting a dog or cat can actually lower your blood pressure. I know mine keep me sane (or fairly close to it).

    Madness takes it's toll....
    Please have exact change ready.

P even let me hold her (and the pup burrowed into me when I went to hand her back to the owner) for as long as I could get away with. I daresay it definitely put me in a better mood for the rest of the day.

(I miss having a kitty around--luckily I'm catsitting for a week next month)

My dog always makes me feel better after a rough day. Unless she's done something naughty.

They're easy to forgive though. If my cat might shit on the carpet, I'll be mad at him while I clean up, a few minutes later he'll come nuzzle me, and all is forgiven.

When my fiancé annoys me I can be angry for hours.
How was I supposed to know someone was slipping you Birth Control in the food I've been making for you lately?

Yeah, but your fiancé is supposed to be housetrained.

Yes, actually, petting a cat gently will reduce blood pressure and produce a calming feeling.

Having my cat nearby is VERY good for my soul. I smile the moment I see her, and petting her is divine.

But does anyone think of the cat and how they feel? Henri's Ennui

Yeah...they have it rough, all right. (Thanks for sharing, that's some good stuff!)

this. i left work last week feeling like shit with a writeup. i felt better after i got out and went to the park with my bf and the dog. dog doesn't care what i did at work - all she cares about is licking us to death and loving us.

I am blessed with a cat mellow enough to tolerate my bad-day-at-work hugs.

I have only had one standoffish cat, he was an alley cat rescue and nervous around people.

Jezabel likes being used to snuggle around as a purring hot water bottle.

If McGriff could sense you had a bad day he'd insist on getting in your face and I swear he'd make you feel like the world's biggest jerk for even trying to push him away.

I had mentioned to one of my clients yesterday how I had a kinda-crappy day at work on Monday, so she readjusted what we had to do so I could take her pup out for a second walk.

I get home, get barked at when I try to open the door (yes they are so vicious), get pissed (Karuso doesn't have control over his bladder yet) on and get tongued (puppy kisses for like 2 hrs). And yet, its the happiest moment in my day seeing my puppies.
