  • Ohio in April

It is hell. My hands are half frozen off as I don't have my gloves, my allergies are still acting up, and I fear it may snow yet again. And I have to mow.

Still, there are now baby geese around, possibly the only good thing about having a state covered in the bloody things. If only they didn't grow up so fast (or would allow me to get close enough to get a good picture)...

Well, it is Northeast Ohio. If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes. It'll change.
I'd love to mow my yard, but at this point, I think I need a combine with pontoons for my backyard. (anybody know how to mow a rice paddy?)

Now, if only my sinuses would shut up for a bit, I'd be fine.

Ohio weather has always been a bit .. odd (In the northeast region myself). Sometimes it is unseasonably warm, other times you take a step out and turn into a human Popsicle. hehe.
Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

The weather in South East Ohio is just as strange. We have a saying here in the Ohio Valley that if you do not like the weather to wait 5 minutes

I have to admit, I kinda liked having Snow on my birthday (4/1) when I was living in Ohio :P

That said, I do NOT miss just how damn much my allergies would explode out there. It's bad enough here in NY, but it was light years worse out there.

            Aww, here it's weird, too.

Two days ago I had to put the ac on. Today? Heat had to be on for a bit.

NW Ohio is the same.. It's common to leave for work in the morning in a short sleeve shirt with no jacket, and then needing a thermal underway, and a parka for the trip back home in the evening.
Just sliding down the razor blade of life.

We have that saying in NE Wisconsin. Our weather has been much as Mytical described. I put away all my sweats, then had to drag them out again.

Left for work this morning... temp 37 degrees. Got in my car after work today and had to open the windows... darn near burnt my hands on the steering wheel. (Northwest Ohio)
