How being TOO GOOD at your job can get you fired OR reason #1247 that people suck

Summary: Article says that sometimes performing your job really well can make you a threat to those above you on the food chain. Said people will then proceed to screw you over/mess with you/do whatever they can to either prevent you from getting a raise/promotion OR cause you to leave the company completely.

Yeah, sad, isn't it? I've also read member posts here about having people screw them over for those reasons.

And often complaining about those people just makes it worse if they're in league with the main bosses. Or is word gets to the person that youre unhappy about the situation. Certain types of people really fail at controlling jealousy.

It's sad and an utter travesty that the good ones get fucked over like that.
