I did it!

I really did. I uploaded my book to Amazon.

The process took much longer than I had thought, and I'm VERY glad I got the book guide to Kindle (it's free). It goes through everything you need to know about formatting, saving, uploading pictures, the works. Uploading itself is rather complicated and, as I said, long, but I think it's done.

It'll be a day or two before it's up for sale. Oh, everyone, wish me MASSIVE luck!

It's still listed as "Draft" when I check. I'm nervous about the whole thing, but glad that I took this step. No agents would sign me on, though one did thank me for "an entertaining and hilarious read." (That's a direct quote.)

It was long past time for me to take matters into my own hands. Now - well, we'll see what happens.

NOW, it's publishing. It was stuck in "Draft" status for some reason I still don't understand. I went into my account, clicked a few clicks, and now it's in the publishing process. 12 hours to Amazon!
