  • Going crazy

It's 1 hour and 45 minutes till I leave to go to the airport for my trip back to visit family. I'm a bunch of nerves, I'm always worried about making my flight and the layovers, and what if my nephew doesn't like me? He hasn't seen me since he was a few weeks old and he screams and runs away from my other sister. I would be heart broken if he didn't like me!
I have places to go eat planned out and meetings with friends as well as a BBQ Sunday for family to gather so I'm not going to everyone's house and missing some people cause they only had weekend days free. My BF is getting introduced to my LARGE family this trip. I hope dad behaves and mom leaves the baby pictures put away.

Waiting is just making me more nervous, but I can't play games cause my computer is down and the laptop can't handle games.

*hugs* Deep breathes. You'll be fine. And have a blast! Oh, and your nephew will love you. ^_^

I'm assuming your nephew is fairly young. Just try to get on his level. Sometimes doing that literally helps, as in putting your head at the same height as his while you talk to him. Trust me; I'm one of those people that kids love.

Usually small children love me, they will smile and wave and say hi and play peek a boo with me in line or at restaurants. Thing is my sister is good with kids too, so it makes me worried. His mother thinks it could be because he's used to plump women and my older little sister is stick skinny. We won't really know why he doesn't like my oldest little sister till he's old enough to communicate.
