  • Top 5 most embarrassing things about yourself.

So, let's see whose brave enough to subject themselves to this torture.

As for myself (in no particular order):

#1.) I actually teared up at an episode of "Walker, Texas Ranger".
#2.) I am a straight male that actually enjoy romantic comedies.
    #3.) I still enjoy watching MMPR and it's sequels/spinoffs.
#4.) I have been known to strike up a conversation with random strangers. I'm talking in depth discussion on a topic, not just a "Hi, how are you."
#5.) I have never been on a date in my life. (Not really embarrassed by this, as much as by the response that most people who seem to take it as their personal mission to get me a date.)

    So, who's next?

1: I still have trouble not giggling when someone farts, even if it's me.
      2: I am a massive flirt.
3: I've only slept with one guy (Doesn't bother me in the slightest, but it really weirds some people out.)
4: I like to stick random pictures in odd places.
5: TMI: My boobs hurt badly whenever I'm around hungry babies that try to latch on to my shirt for a feed.

Oh, HELL no. The top TEN most embarrassing things I've been through I wouldn't put out in public. The top 5 most embarrassing things I'd ADMIT to? Hard to say, as very little actually embarrasses me, and the few things that have....well, see above. And the few people that have knowledge of those situations have been sworn to secrecy under pain of a fate far worse than death.

What would I admit to? Hmmmm....well, some people might find these embarrassing, and I have caught hell for them....

        5. I've actually watched curling, and semi-enjoyed it.
        4. I watch The Biggest Loser religiously.
        3. When all that crap went down, I actually had a huge crush on Tonya Harding.
        2. I'm a straight guy that actually does NOT like The Three Stooges all that much. (Heresy, I know.)
        1. I have never seen the movies "Christmas Story" or "It's a Wonderful Life" all the way through. And really don't care. (And until very recently, had never seen "Goonies.")

I'm in that same boat too...and for me add on that I've never seen ANY of the Star Wars trilogies but have seen Blue Harvest, Something Something Darkside and Entrapment Family Guy Star Wars parodies.

I have a VERY low drinking tolerance...one drink puts me to sleep.

I have some guilty pleasures for watching certain trashy reality tv shows

          I can't skate

I've never been in management and never been promoted.

OK, I'm with Jester, Top 5 Most Embarrasing Things I'll ADMIT To

#1 I have a weakness for rather weird TV documentaries (ones about serial killers, weird medical conditions, disasters (especially historical ones like the Black Death), etc. Nothing gory, but definitely a bit odd. Books, too, actually.

#2 When I was 3 years old I had a thing about the taste of rubber - I chewed on the pedals of my tricycle (after wiping them off, I didn't chew on the tires cause they were too dirty, ick

#3 I've been known to read thru software & operating system manuals just to see what I can find that I didn't already know, "just for fun"

#4 I have a real problem with faces, I can watch a movie and not even notice the actor is the same as in the last movie I saw but with a different hair syle . People laugh about the old Lois Lane/Superman thing, just take off the glasses & she can't tell he's Clark Kent - woulda fooled me, no problem. Hubby, on the other hand, can watch a movie, and comment that an actor with a tiny little part also had some tiny little part in something we saw five years ago, even if they're weiaring makeup to be aliens or something.

            # 5 I've never seen a James Bond movie

and after reading the other posts, should I be embarased that I had to look up what MMPR stood for?

            Madness takes it's toll....
            Please have exact change ready.

I changed the title, since I don't intend to probe into anyone's deep dark secrets.

PS: It is only changed at the top here, not the actual post title in "Off Topic".

See here I am in a conundrum. My life is pretty much an open book. You ask me something, and I will absolutely answer it honestly..so only ask if you are up for that honest answer. So there is nothing in my life I am embarrassed about. Now .. what others might laugh at me for? (or get my man card revoked)

                5. I once had a collection of over 200 unicorn figurines. I'm down to under 50 now though. Not going to count how many posters I had, though now I am down to 0..lost every one of them over time.

                4. I cry over some of the silliest things. Movies, tv, I tear up more then anybody I know.

                3. I hate the thought of even hurting an insect. For some reasons 'SC's' and 'EW's' bypass my empathy/compassion side however..and it doesn't bother me at all to set them straight.

                2. I once turned down a three way (Yes they were attractive). You will have to pm me for any more then that though.

                1. A girl one time bullied me in to mock marrying her (we were kids).
Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

                    Okay here we go.....

                    1) I love watching sappy children's movies like "The Secret Garden" and "A Little Princess"

                    2) I collect unicorns too Mytical!!! I started when I was a teen and still love them. I still have a ton of Sue Dawe pics I framed from calenders waaaay back when!

                    3) I am absolutely HORRIBLE with names. I can remember a face I saw 30 years ago, but struggle to remember the name of somebody I see several times a week.

                    4) I HATE having my picture taken and will take any steps necessary to ensure that when somebody has a camera, I'm standing far BEHIND them.

                    5) At the age of 40 I still technically "live with my parents" - though I have my own apartment/suite in their basement and pay my own rent/hydro/food, work and have my own vehicle. Its a situation that works for all of us as my rent helps pay their mortgage, and I'm around to do yardwork/housework/errands for my folks as they're getting to that age when things are becoming more difficult. Funny thing is I used to be so embarassed about this even though I know MANY people who live in basement apartments that they rent from other people, however in the last year I've helped no fewer than 4 friends turn their parent's basements into suites/apartments just like mine for various reasons (convenience, loss of jobs, ability to help parents, and overall lack of affordable apartments in a small town).
The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away.

I'm kinda like the count on sesame street. I like to count things. Any things. Its almost compulsory to me.

When I'm alone or bored I feel the urge to make strange sounds.

                      I like reading Naruto fanfiction.

I cuss more than I should.

I like playing farming games online for hours.
A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.

I cried at the new Star Trek movie. When Kirk's dad died. Shut up I was pregnant at the time!

Once I asked my friend to send me a bunch of Duncan/Methos Highlander slashfics. And I read them ALL. And enjoyed them.

I have a huge crush on Sylvestor Stallone.

I have a habit I can't break of drinking juice straight from the carton. And not just if it's the last couple swallows either.

                        I am terrified of centipedes.

                          5. I am afraid of balloons.
                          4. My tolerance levels for cute are ridiculously low.
                          3. Not only am I a hardcore brony, my gateway to the fandom was a helping create a MLP-based homebrew RPG.
                          2. My normal taste in film runs towards big explosions, but the film I have watched the largest number of times is "Love Actually".
                          1. I love banjo music. If it can be played on a banjo, I have it in a playlist somewhere.

                            1. I have never really dated anyone and I am a 21 year old male.
                            2. I am afraid of bees, needles, and heights.
                            3. I am ocd when it comes to dvd's. I have all my dvds seperated by sports to movies to tv shows. I even have them in alphabetical order.
                            4. I enjoy Steven Seagal movies.
                            5. I tend to enjoy reading a lot of harem mangas. My favorite one is Rosario + Vampire.

Oh, come on now. I have to believe you kinda did. No, not pry them out of people who don't want them pried out, but when you start asking people for their most embarrassing moments, you gotta be looking for some juicy stories, don't ya think? I know I would be. Maybe I'm wrong....it's been known to happen.

I don't know that embarrassing stuff we did as kids should count here, since we've all done embarrassing stuff as kids. MY list would be huge, for example. Though I think a separate thread about embarrassing stuff we did as kids WOULD be amusing. Just my opinion.

On that same note, I don't think you can count embarrassing things against pregnant women. But that's just my opinion....and that of just about every pregnant woman I've ever talked to about this subject.
