Best moments of the Dresden Files (spoilers)

Going to a con next week and I'm moderating a discussion on the Dresden Files so to help me put together a top 10 list and refresh my memory please share and discuss your favourite moments of the book series, graphic novels and short stories welcome.

Most Powerful heartrenching moment: Harry killing Susan
Most Cheerful moment: learning Butters was wearing KEvlar and was in fact not dead
Most Badass for Harry: animated Skeletal T-Rex, through Chicago, while Butters Played Polka,

Most ridiculous moment: Morgan playing the one man band apparatus
Most Heartwarming moment: Carpenters taking in Dresden's daughter.
Most Badass for someone other than Harry: Toot vs the skinwalker

My vote for 'Best Line In The Entire Series': "Likest thou jelly within thy donut?" and “Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face.”

My most heart-wrenching moment: Shiro's death. I think I cried more over that than any other death in the books

My most cheerful moment: I agree about the 'Butters turning out not to be dead', but also Michael turning out not to be dead.

My most badass Harry moment: Hands down, his exchange with Mab at the end of Ghost Story.

Funniest moment: Laser-guided frozen turkey missile.

Moment that just made me go 'Woah...wait...what?': Mac speaking a full paragraph

Most badass moment for someone other than Harry: Charity-freakin-Carpenter arming herself to the teeth and going with Harry to Arctis Tor to save Molly. Heck, the Carpenters in general are a pretty badass family.

Polaris Con it's in toronto next week. I went last year and had a great time.

While we're here I have to say I miss Thomas pre turncoat where he volunteered to help save Molly but in changes he has to be threatened to help his niece.

You might want to make it plainer to people that this is about the books, and not the TV series. I'm sure several people are reading this and going "Harry killed Susan? Animated skeletal T-Rex??!? Did they have a second season and nobody told me??"

honestly I don't consider that tv series to even be worth mentioning

Best Shocking Moment: McCoy turning out to be not only Blackstaff but Harry's grandfather.
Funniest moment: Harry cooling off Molly's crush the hard way.
Next funniest moment: The light at the end of the tunnel actually being a train.
We need a box of tissues: Harry killing Susan.

Funniest Dialogue for me: MOLLY: I think there are other quotes aside from Star Wars, you know.
HARRY: That is why you fail....

Badass moments? How about in Grave Peril where Harry allows enough magic to awaken the ghosts of all the vampires' victims? Or in the same book where Harry's OWN GHOST COMES TO HELP HIM???

Actually, my favorite quote is from "A Restoration of Faith," a Dresden short story:

"You never get across the bridge without facing the troll."

As for humor, I don't think anything beats Harry shaking Butters and screaming, "POLKA WILL NEVER DIE!"

That's a shame. If you're not trying to force it to be the books, it's quite enjoyable.

More on topic, don't forget some Bob moments and Mister and Mouse. (can't name any off the top of my head)

Sanya is one of my favorite human characters.

And, yes, Shiro's death took a lot of brave tissues with it.

Bob was much better in the TV series than in the books. I hated to admit it, but he really was.

Another badass moment is pixies with box cutters taking-out the Summer Lady!

Oh, I agree with the necro-animated T-rex powered by polka...Just...Yeah.

Books so much better than tv show in my opinion. Audible books are read really well too.
