This theater is the closest one to my house. I was going to see Batman there after work but I will have to pass. Employees are going to be shook up enough as it is. My heart goes out to their families.

They talked about it for a bit on the radio here but they didn't have many details. So scary.

I've been checking my Facebook for any news from my friends. One friend was in attendance, but luckily she was unharmed.

One of the people I follow on Twitter is Jessica Redfield, who just last month survived the shootings at Toronto's Eaton Centre. She was in attendance last night and did not survive.

That theater is about an hour from my house ... one of my best friends drives by it every day on his way to work. He probably would have been at that showing if his girlfriend hadn't been sick.

My heart goes out to all the victims, their family, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. It was a horrid tragedy, perpetrated by a man who is, clearly, completely insane. The more info released about him, the more detached from reality he seems to be.

DC has pulled all their TV adverts for the film. No matter my opinion of that, it's one that could affect the visibility of the movie. I hope it doesn't cause people to stay away - the studios, producers, actors, and others involved in the process should not be vilified for the actions of one crazy man.

I'll be going to see the movie as soon as possible.
