UPDATE: ITS SHUT DOWN, I have no more printer ink and cannot afford any, let alone just black ink. its done. see the last post i made for details i am very upset

have been working on this for a week or so and have most of it ready and at the least wanted to get it out while there is still time for me to keep at it before I move at the end of august.

In honor of everyone's favorite forum friend among many names, Plaidman, of which that its been a hard year I wanted to send out something to all who would like one to commemorate and to keep in our hearts.
Plaid Style bottle caps UPDATED now with gold stripes this is the finished product. will have a second version with just gold or dull yellow stripe based on the patch

(all i need is to paint the final stripe of gold yellow and they are done. there are more than shown here. and the teal was thrown in just in case)

To be specific a plaid painted bottle cap! I have plaid blue, dark blue, purple black or silver. The plaid design is based off of this plaid patch i used for the first plaid pony i made way back when

Here is the best part! I have gone through the images i went searching for when it happened and chose 6. which will be shown in my second post
The bottle cap will have one of these images placed in the choice of painted bottle cap that each person wants and will come with with a print of the latest pony drawing i am currently working on

Plaid Pony Kitty Love

Included with the bottle cap is the Plaid Pony Kitty Love printed on an 5x6 index card which is fairly big considering index card standards OR another image of your choice not shown here.
The only catch, i am asking for a little bit in postage, at most a dollar per IF possible to cover the cost of the padded envelope it would come in. also working hard to cover extra costs for those that cannot since its something i want to give. and if i have any left over via funds or caps or what have you it is going to Plaids Organization the NF network.

oh yeah, keep in mind these images will be shrunk to fit the bottle caps and may be a bit blurred due to the craft glue i will be using. will post more pictures and updates as i complete this

Great idea and the designs look good, one suggestion though;

working hard to finish so that i can print it on a 5x6 index card. which is fairly big considering index card standards. I would say ask a little more - even $5 each and donate the proceeds to one of the charities Plaid supported. I don't think it would deter anyone here from buying one at the $5 price.

yes please Food Lady! i have more pictures just found these to be the best ones out of them all and appropriate

that is a good idea draggar. however i didn't want to ask because its not in my nature as i was taught only ask for help if i cannot do it myself. As you suggested this i think i will let others make that choice. the promise still stands though as some of this goes to cover envelopes and postage thus why the one dollar. (i get a discount from the store my hubs works at for padded envelopes)

just put the first coat of glossy primer (thats what i call it, thats not what it is its protective coating) one more final coat and 6 plaid glitter caps AND
black, blue, dark blue, purple, silver, one teal, and others. when i bring them in for final tally i will post the final count

EDIT final count is 8 plaid caps
6 black
2 blue
2 dark blue
1 silver one teal

going to be painting more friday

i may have gone too heavy on the coating so they have a white haze. remedying that now

what i shared on facebook

this has a great deal of meaning for me. put part of my soul and my grief into it. He often emulated a cat, loved batman and superman thus the cape and i believe he embodies the spirit of a pony/brony "Love and Tolerate" before it became what it is today, a massive group of fans called bronies for the G4 - generation four of the My Little Pony
its for a late friend of mine. its been a year. he would show love and friendship to all if you were having a bad day, to put a smile on your face or just to stop by and say hi, and he would do little for himself in his own time of need...i wish he were still here
