  • Ahem...

    On Jan 6, 2012 I weighed in at 289.6lbs. Wearing US 24-26 pants.
    On Aug 4, 2012 I weighed in at 259.1lbs. Wearing US 16-18 pants (and one pair of 14 shorts).

    That is all.

              Good job! I seem to be naturally bottom heavy so even though I'm below 200 I still have to wear a 16 usually. .

                          Yaaay for you. That's an awesome accomplishment.

                          Trust me, I know how hard it is. I managed to lose 25, but have been in a holding pattern since winter. At least I haven't gained it back. But I need to lose more. You have done an awesome thing, and I'm inspired by you :-)

                          And if you ever need to remind yourself just how awesome an accomplishment it is, walk into any DIY store, find something (garden mulch, whatever) in a big bag that weighs what you've lost. Carry it around for a while. And keep reminding yourself, that's how much your body isn't carrying around any more - got to be healtier for all parts of the body.

                          Even walking around the house with a five pound bag of sugar feels like a lot after a while, and helps keep from getting discouraged over just a minor loss.

                          Madness takes it's toll....
