  • The crazy is taking over!

So I was reading through the archives of a particular member, and one of the thread titles triggered something in my head that it hadn't the first time I read it. So for the last 12 hours or so, I have been writing parodies. Not Christmas parodies like I did before. Not even really Sucky Customer parodies (1 of them is). Nope.

I have been writing CS parodies.

I have taken the profession or screen name, found a semi appropriate song to go with it. My brain just went there, and I couldn't stop it.

The problem is that A.) I don't know that the members (2 so far, no telling how many more in the future) will appreciate them and B.) I don't want to upset anyone that doesn't get the treatment.

Now, I will post the SC parody here now, but the 2 CS parodies I am still not sure about. I think I will PM the members, and ask if they want to read them, and then if they mind if I post them.

I want to be clear, I don't want to embarrass anyone, and there is nothing inappropriate or negative about the members in question in the song. I just remember that I didn't particularly like it when I had a teacher make up a song using my REAL name, and then callously disregard my displeasure.

    (Tune of "Modern Major General")

    Horrid Individual

I am the very model of a horrid Individual,
My goal: to make any situation be Unbearable
I know the ownership of every business that I enter in
(Not Really, it's the only way that I can show my importance)
I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical,
That 2 + 2 does equal five is well established factual
In grammar and in spelling my proficiency is the very best
(My teachers always got it wrong when grading my English tests)

I whistle very sweetly for the stock boy to come load my cart
And when ignored I have no problem using the racial card
In short, in matters from mundane to the most critical
I am the very model of a horrid individual

    SC

PS: I honestly hope that this is merely my creativity leaking out due to the writer's block I am currently experiencing in regard's to my other writing.

OK, The first one to get the treatment is... Me. This is not one of the 2 mentioned above, I wrote this after I originally posted.

    (Tune of "Modern Major General")

    Crazy Parodist

I am the very model of a modern crazy parodist
I can make songs about most any subject that is on my list
I know no bounds and often will create a song that's just for fun
But then again, the subject of my musings could be anyone
I'm well acquainted with music both modern and historical
And understand that changing lyrics are often very difficult
Finding proper rhythm is seeming the hardest of skills
And unfortunately writing parodies does not pay the bills

I'm very good at integrating song and subject seamlessly
And considering that often times I write my music heedlessly
In short, in matters that don't require the skills of a humorist
I am the very model of a modern crazy parodist

And Raps just gave me permission, so here's his:

(Tune of "Mickey Mouse Club Theme")

Who's the leader of the site
    That's made for employees
    R-A-P-S-C-A L-L-I-O-N
Hey! there, Hi! there, Ho! there
You're as welcome as can be
    R-A-P-S-C-A L-L-I-O-N

    Rapscallion!

    Rapscallion!

Forever let us hold our anger
    High! High! High! High!

Come along and join the throng
    We're quite a company!
    R-A-P-S-C-A L-L-I-O-N

    Enjoy!

I think one of the highest honors we posters can reach for is to be parodied or our writing style copied. Others might feel differently, but I know for one that if I ever inspired a parody or somebody copying my writing style..I would feel very honored. Which means, I doubt the two people on your list would object too much.

Thank you for the support. However, though I am almost certain that the 2 (so far) that I have thus "honored" would get a kick out of them, as I stated above I want to be sure, and so you must wait.

Just received Kara's permission, so I now present the next parody:

                  (Tune of "Modern Major General")

I am the very model of a modern Prison Officer
I protect the outside people from the animals inside of stir
I know the things a man might do, in situations multiple
                  From in the cell to in the hole, in order categorical;
I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters psychological,
I understand the inmates, both the psycho and conventional,
Around the barb-ed fence I am often watching for escaping cons,
And in the tower I'm sometimes called to stand with my weapon drawn

                  I'm very good at listening in and catching cons shenanigans;
I know the ins and out of what a con might do with ballpoint pens:
In short, in matters involving the animals inside of stir,
I am the very model of a modern Prison Officer.

                  Thanks, Kara,

                  SC

Just got Seraph's permission, so here it is:

                        (Tune of "The Logical Song")

When I was young, I thought I was invincible
Un-hurtable, oh I was Logical, Practical
When all the birds in the trees, well they all start attacking me
                        Joyfully, painfully, hurting me
And as I'm running away, a stick somehow tackles me
Stabbing me, in the knee, more pain for me
And when I got to the house, I felt the need to eat
A toasty treat, oh burning heat, quite a feat

There are times, when I can't seem to keep
                        The demons in the deep
I do all that I can
Won't you please, please pay me what I've earned
I know it I've done the work
                        You're just running a scam

Now watch what I do and you'll be calling it insanity,
Crazy me, The Enemy of Normalcy
Won't you check out my posts, you'll see that I'm not
                        Acceptable, respectable, presentable, enviable

At night, I work instead of sleep
And keep up with my "peeps"
I do all that I can

                              Just got Kanalah's permission:

                              (Tune of "Kokomo")

To order, she'll make it, a lovely quilted blanket
In her home, for money, to help support her family
A Queen size, or King Size, a double or a twin size

                              She'll make it

                              In Oklahoma State
                              There's a lady called Kanalah
That's where you wanna go to get a quilt for your bed

                              Bobbing thread in hand
Setting everything up so that she can
                              Be making it all
To the rhythm of her sewing machine
                              Made by Kanalah
