Hello fellow workers who have to deal with idiotic customers who can't speak proper English nor figure out prices. (The title speaks for itself while I was dealing a rude customer)

I currently work full time at my family's pizza place, but we sold the business also its our last two days and I didn't feel like arguing with this customer but she pushed my limits.

    The story goes like...

Me: [store name] pizza, how may I help you?
Customer: Hi, I would like to order a 16" sausage pizza for delivery.
Me: [since were leaving we are not doing deliveries, because we have no drivers] sorry ma'am we are not doing deliveries this week, would you like to come pick it up?
Customer: Wha the f***? ya mean I have to drive my ass to pick it up?
Me: Sorry ma'am we don't have any drivers this week that's why.
    Customer: hangs up.

    **calls three minuets later**

Customer: OK, I'll pick up this time, but next time y'all better deliver.
    Me: 16" Sausage.
Customer: I have the $2 off coupon.
Me: OK, It will be about 25 to 30 minuets.
    Customer: [hangs up]

**two minuets later she calls again**

Customer: Can you charge my card over the phone?
Me: No ma'am I can't do that you have to pay in person for pick up.
Customer: That some serious bulls**** take my card now.
Me [my dad is next to me] Dad: Just take the card I'm sick of this dumb bitch wasting your time.
    Me: OK!!!
Customer: OK [Gives number], hangs up.

As I was getting her total done to make her payment she calls again, [Keep in mind she has an old menu, because we changed our prices about two years ago, and its clear she doesn't have the recent copy]

**three minuets later she calls again**
Customer: Did ya charge my card yet?
Me: I'm about to ma'am right now.
    Customer: How much it is?
    Me: $16.01 minus two, $14.01.
Customer: Wha the hell, here on the menu it says $12.50
Me: Ma'am, the 16" is $12.99, plus $1.80 each topping we changed our prices over a year ago.
Customer: Don cha ya lie to me, the menu says $12.50 and it better $12.50, because I ain't payin no $14.01 for no pizza!!
    Me: Ma'am...
Customer: Don't ma'am me, let me speak to the owner.

    **Dad comes to the phone**
Customer: Yall cheatin on the prices its ridiculous, no pizza can be $12.99
Dad: Ma'am the pizza costs $12.99 plus $1.80 the topping, comes to $16.01 with coupon $14.01. That's the price, if you don't like you don't have to buy.
    **hangs up**

    ** three seconds later**
Me: [store name] pizza how may I help you?
Customer: I can't believe ya guys are all lairs, cheating on prices this is very ignorant of ya to treat me like this and for ya to brang the owner to tell me what the prices are, "I'm going to tech ya a lesson" I know how to count, yall ignorant!"
Me: [silence the whole while she's ranting]
Customer: Ive been comin here fo years and I have never been treated like this.
Me: [fed up with her crap] Ma'am have a nice day!!
    **hanged up***

**thirty-five minuets later she shows up**
Customer: See right here $12.50, motha f**** liars.
Dad: [shows menu, and the price board] $12.99
Customer: Bulls***, I want my pizza to be $12.50
Me: [watching the whole scene] Ma'am if you don't like our service the exit is right there enjoy the trip and don't ever come back.
Customer: **turns red and shuts her mouth, leaving without a pizza.**

Seriously, I'm glad we sold our place and don't have to deal with people like that. Sorry for the long post.

I am indulging in the lovely moment of her coming back (because we know all SCs will!) and trying to scam you out of pizza - only to find there isn't pizza for her to get!
"Bring me knitting!" (The Doctor - not the one you were expecting)

Although it'll take her a while to wrap her head around the fact that a representative of a family business basically told her to F*** off rather than grovelling ...

Ugh, I hate those people who think that a price increase is just the business trying to rip them off. Worse though are the people who insist that you're obviously incompenent because you have failed to reach the low low total that they expect.

And the lesson was "Why you should never ever ever serve me" , dismissed!

Funny how some people go into that pre-recorded tirade mode that they use against all chains and corporate establishments without checking first to see if the person who just shut them down IS effectively the manager, owner and CEO all in one....

I hate the way people seem to think that prices should never, ever change. These people must go into shock at the gas pumps.

Since your family has sold the business, you wouldn't get in too much trouble mouthing off at idiots. Answer to the bolded remark:
"No, you could drive your ox to pick it up".

Since you were only doing pickup orders, why would she want to use her card over the phone? After all, she'd need to show up in person to get the pizza, since you can't send that over the phone. To me, that would be a red flag (person who will be coming in person to pick up merchandise wanting to pay in a card-not-present transaction) - the merchant has fewer protections against a chargeback in a card-not-present transaction, and there's also the possibility that she doesn't have the card, just the number, because it's not her card.

Maybe the two of you should contact the employer of the person who thinks prices should never go up - after all, such a person should feel the same way about their wages.
Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.

. Oh no we don't deal with people like her anymore, but the new owners will . (They already have )

Well, try explaining to someone who doesn't know the difference also screaming at your ear as loud as they can.

Your comment just made laugh (Thanks). If you thought she was that mad for my dad telling her to f*** off, think about me hearing her rant?!?! longest rant I have ever heard while working there.
