We have now sent my direct deposit info to the proper office of my new employer no less than three times (possibly four, if you want to count the site manager's attempt to send it via email -- they said it couldn't be accepted via email) and the first couple of times the system ate it or something ...

Honest question... You trust a company that can't handle e-mail to electronically deposit your money?

Email might be due to the company wanting the original versus a digital copy. Who knows, but that's a lot of screw ups.

I think it was something similar to what Slayer suggested: they wanted their official electronic document and not an email ... I am putting it down to the fact they've got a new computer system since the new company has taken over ... and hopefully that's all it is.
