Ok so I am looking forward to a new series that is premiering on the above date called 'The Arrow'. It is about Green Arrow. Of course part of me is half dreading what ugliness it could bring, but there is a slim hope that it will be awesome. Anybody else heard anything about it?

Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong. -
I'm both looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. Green Arrow is one of my favorite comic book heroes, so seeing him on TV will be cool, but they could so easily screw it up all to hell.

It is CW airing it. That in itself is not a good sign...Comment

I'm a pre-reboot Green Arrow fan, so I'm awaiting this premier with trepidation, myself.
Will it be good? Will it be bad? Will it be watchable? Will it actually be a Green Arrow show?
We'll find out in October.

John Barrowman is in it.
He said, at D*C, that they're deliberately not releasing serious trailers or spoilers, so as to keep things surprising. He wouldn't even name his character, IIRC.
