  • Evil white stuff!

I'm taking my Pathfinders camping this afternoon and there is evil white stuff falling from the sky, and even worse it seems to be sticking! Someone make it stop! Boo, hiss...

    It's 68 degrees here.

    Edit: and sunny.

Well, now it's kinda chilly and dark, if it makes you feel better. Only 61...brr..

Not ready for evil white stuff season, but they're forecasting a mild winter for us. Finally got my baseboard heaters cleaned off, so when the heat does kick on, I won't have the burning dust smell to contend with.

Try this: Wave your hands at it and go, "Shoo! Shooo!"

              Oh, wait...that doesn't work, I've tried it...

I don't get the evil white stuff, myself, but we did have a deluge of the wet, wetty stuff the other day.

Been looking at my heat register and considering what it will take to get it cleared and ready for duty.

Send the wonderful, dreamy, merry white blessing from the sky here! Pretty please, with a penguin on top.

First thing I thought of when I saw the post title was milk.

                      Then silly string.

Baby batter? I never heard it called that before. Good thing I wasn't drinking anything.

Yeah, my mind went to the gutter when I read the title, too, even though I figured it meant . . . the S word that so many warm-blooded people hate

I don't have much experience with it, myself. Native Floridian and all. I do love the cold, though.

It wasn't too bad, it had stopped snowing by the time we left for the camp. But the whining when the girls figured out they were still expected to sleep in a tent overnight, dear dog. It was only -7, not too bad, us leaders were warm. They were warned it was a possibility this weekend, we went over what to pack and wear and what they should have for sleeping, so valuable lesson learned. We did have a shelter to retreat to if it was too bad but they were told to try the tent first, about half of them ended up in the shelter, because they didn't have the right gear.
