Comment Form-not completed by Staff member
On Nov. 29, 2012 someone left a Comment Form on X's desk. It did not have a staff response. If you collect a Comment Form from a customer, please complete the section: Staff Response. This is necessary.

Computer keyboard @ R1 found today, question
I found a computer keyboard with the cord wrapped around it at R1. Does anyone know anything about that? Does it work or is it broken? Please reply so I know where to send it.

Fridays -- Max Staff Out
We have reached maximum staff out for all the Fridays in December.

Ds Game checks
Please remember to always check the number on the back of the DS game to be sure that the last digits match the card you are sliding the game back into, before checking the game in. Not doing this can lead to inaccurate checkout records and no way for us to hold a customer responsible for something not returned. We have many games where we own more than one copy and frequently they are all checked out.

World Language Computer Use - Reminders

Attention Staff:
The World Language Computers are ONLY for language study via the library’s databases or if a patron needs to type something in another alphabet (Russian, Chinese, etc.)
The only exception is a patron in a wheelchair who cannot fit into the elevator (ex: person in a wheelchair whose leg must remain extended)
People who can wheel themselves in or are being pushed by someone can get to the third floor on the elevators to use the computers.
Do not let yourselves be bullied by patrons with excuses like “I’m going to talk to someone in Spanish online” or “I’m handicapped”. (dmfan note: we are always suppose to initial when he post on the blog. I imagine this is the Manager who posted this)
dmfan note: Now I can't tell if this person is leaving the library. And he talks like this in real life. He is a very nice guy:

It has been a wondrous journey with you All. I have been Humbled, Edified, Lifted, and Loved. …Such a wonderful chapter that must not be forgotten because HPL is unforgettable. It is filled with Amazing people… Special People… Those that realize a difference can be made on many levels. You are all Brilliant Lights, and they can be seen many a times by those who choose to look and see what is really there. I look forward to our paths crossing again whether it be for the casual conversation or a passing of knowledge.
HPL will always hold a special place in this guy’s heart!
