  • Appliance Repair help.

Ok I needed to clean the oven. I took the door off and now I can't get it back on. It's the kind with removable hinges like this: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/images...door_hinge.gif

I can't seem to get them close enough together to hook them together.

Sometimes those things can be annoying. You'll probably need a second person to help line things up.

I second a second person idea. I know it needed three of us on one oven Mom used to have. Two to hold either side of the door and the third person to get the holes right...so glad that oven is history.

Glue the door on with charred chocolate?

Does the oven door come all the way down to a 90 degree angle? Is it possible that you might have something level to put it on so that it's flush with the way it should lay down when fully opened? I Agree about having a second person helping you, but if not, maybe try this instead.

            diagram

            I like this site:

            http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part...t/user-manuals

exploded views of how things are suppose to fit.

tell them the make and model and see it all
