Don't hate the movie but didn't watch. Last night I watched How to Train Your Dragon again (it was on at least 3 times in a row on FX).

Did you know that A Christmas Story has an official sequel? Came out this year in October, according to IMDB. I will not be watching it, because I despise the original.

That said, I spent most of the last two evenings watching Hunter x Hunter on Crunchy Roll over Xbox Live.

I judge Christmas to be officially over when the last showing of A Christmas Story on TBS ends. Previously, Christmas ended when we returned home at night from visiting family Christmas Day, but these get-togethers don't happen anymore. People are either working, or have plans with other people, or have passed on.

As TBS is now 10 minutes into a The Big Bang Theory rerun, Christmas is officially over to me, although I won't be going to bed for another couple hours.

Wow, that's an early end for Christmas.

We get to "enjoy" Christmas for quite a few more hours, here. Our neighbors are from rather large families on both sides and they tend to host the holiday parties, so there are a ton of noisy people in their drive/back yard, and they've got the music cranked up.

It's all in Spanish, but it's fairly decent music, so we don't really mind. Plus, since they know our bedroom faces their back yard, they're good about shutting it down before it gets too late.

2 things:

1). We do all our gift opening, festive meal, etc on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is somewhat anticlimactic in my family since there's not a lot of them in town, and

B). Most years I have to be at work at Ass O' Clock to get things set up for the post-Christmas sale. Which means turning in at 7 in the evening or so, which happens to be when the last airing of A Christmas Story ends.

Actually the last showing of A Christmas Story ended at 8 pm, and not long after I had to be in bed.

I was at work at 4:55 a.m. this morning. Needless to say, my Christmas was rather short.
