  • Tales from the Lounge: "FIGHT" Edition

So we had a pretty big fight in the Lounge tonight. Apparently one guy started a fight that wound up involving a total of 6 people. I only found out a little bit, based on what I heard from the crowd of people who helped an intoxicated young lady who was evidently the subject of the fight, or at least involved in some way.

The bartender had me call the State Police, it just so happened my GM was already in the line with them, and as he was actually witnessing/assisting the bouncer I told the police they should talk to him.

Two troopers eventually walked in the door, and were informed by a boisterous (and fairly intoxicated lady) that all half dozen or so people in the lobby would identify the trouble maker.

One trooper interviewed the crowd, while the other cornered the jerk in a small alcove.

Now at this point I should let you know that in the center of the lobby is a recessed area that requires you to go down two steps to get in, the alcove is right above it, and there is a low wall that faces this recession. The jerk fell into the recession while talking to the trooper (which the troopers found quite funny).

As the intoxicated young lady mentioned above and the jerk rented a room together at this hotel, the troopers thought it would be a good idea to separate them, so one of the troopers decided to drive her to her parents house, and the other trooper cornered the jerk ion the lobby while she got her stuff out of the room.

A few minutes later, one of the troopers comes through the lobby carrying her stuff, as she trails behind him. Suddenly, her phone rings. She answers it. Then she tells the trooper to "wait a minute". After a few seconds, the trooper asks if it is the jerk, and she tells him it is. The trooper then tells her to hang up.

Yep. They'll be back (in front of a judge, that is...)
