When did *this* happen??
Visited Mom on the weekend and she was perfectly fine (well, as perfectly fine as she's ever likely to be anymore).
For various reasons, didn't get back there until today.
Holy crap. She is SICK. She has a horrible wracking "croupy" cough -- I sat with her through supper and several times thought we were on the verge of a Heimlich maneuver-worthy incident -- and when she's not coughing she sounds like Darth Vader on a bad day.
Her doctor has prescribed what I'm guessing is a broad-spectrum antibiotic and a cough medicine. But man, whatever this is, it hit hard and fast.
