Oh how I wish that was me just doing a pirate impression!
With "Tax Day" being over now, I thought I'd vent a bit.
So The Boy and I just finalized everything today (I know..I know...we've had a lot on our plate this year so far..) and his return came out as expected but mine...oooh boy. We JUST finished paying off the State IRS from back taxes from an inheritance and not a month later I find out that I'm right back in the same boat (this time it's both state and federal!) It was a tax for something that I expected to be much lower (without getting too specific). So instead of having an extra $300 bucks or so a month back to use I now will probably being paying double that.
We were tight on money as it was..
and to top it off this is the week we went on an all house diet so no snack or chocolate to be found!
I know (hope) that we'll get through all this and realize that there are worst things are can be happening right now but damn that hurt.
