Me: Wait...what was that?
CC: I'd like to book a 7-day, 6-night cruise for <gives set of dates>
Me: I'm sorry, I'd like to help, but this is <pool store name>.
CC: Oh s*** you're <pool store>?! I thought I'd dialed <travel company>! Well, anyway, can you help look up a filter part for me?
*conversation continues normally*
Now, that wasn't sucky in the slightest. Turns out the poor thing was going away soon, her new filter had been acting up and she wanted it to be squared away before she left so the pool wouldn't be green when she got back. Sounds like that wasn't the only errand she had to do, especially if she managed to get such a brain fart. Still, I couldn't help but giggle when I heard "Two people For Cancun!" on the other end.
