Today a young woman came in with a costume for some comic-con.
It was an elaborate, form-fitting, elaborately trimmed unitard...too long from the waist to the crotch. There was just no place to shorten it without cutting through and piecing the decorative trim and making a seam at the waist.
She was very, very unhappy when she left. I don't know how much people pay for the costumes when they send in their measurements and have some anonymous factory make it. Enough to make a disappointed woman cry, I guess.
