  • Cold Days is here. (SPOILERS Maybe)

I haven't gotten it yet but I will when the sun comes up. I've been reading the sample chapters online and I can't wait to read the book. Chapters opens at 930...

I love the description of Mab trying to kill Harry day in and day out. I can't wait to see everyone's reaction to Harry being alive and to him being the winter knight, especially the white council. The white council will probably shit elephants.
Interviewer: What is your greatest weakness?
Me: I expect competence from my coworkers.

Lister: This is Crazy. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?
Cat: You're right. We're Nuts! This is an insane conversation....
Lister: She'll never leave Fred and we know it.

Yeah, that won't happen unfortunately unless I be a creeper and sit up in their living room at night while they sleep and then have to give it back when they wake up. : /

Also #GeekWorldProblems for many of my friends: Which book to read first? Cold Days by Jim Butcher, or the 5th Iron Druid book by Kevin Hearne, Trapped?

Picked it up first thing this morning and downloaded it to my eReader. It's been great so far; Harry's still Harry. Gonna be a long night of reading for me I'm sure.

Why yes, I just read it one day. While at work. Says a lot for the pacing, I think.

But DAMN. So much new information. 'Course, this means things are ending soon...

I've fallen way behind. Last book I read was the one just before he finds out he's got a kid -- and certainly before he ends up shot and killed. At some point I've got to get caught up and find out how Butcher talked his way out of that one.

                            Talked his way out?

Try making his way through hell on earth >.<

Or, more appropriately, making Harry go through hell on earth.
