sincere compliment from a customer

this morning the coolest thing happened. after myself and my fellow janitor finished our waxing and were taking down our fence,a customer told us how nice the floor looked. usually the customers are dicks,and get mad because our fence is in the way,and whatnot. this fellow was genuinely happy that we did such a great job on the floor. he spent about 3 minutes telling us and his ladyfriend how wonderful it looked. he even knelt down and touched it.
that made my day,possibley even my week. that is only the second time that a customer has bothered to acknowledge any difference in the floor. i have been doing floor maintenance for a year and a half now. so yeah,a good customer. thanks good customer.
