I got to thinking yesterday... what happens if my dog started choking on something? CPR?

And to add to the, the Heimlich.

I had to do the Heimlich on my dog last year.

The cat clinic we go to did a class on this once. The thing I remember best is that with cats, you have to squeeze from the sides (for a Heimlich-type manuever), not press on the front of the gut like you do with a person.
