Calling In Sick When You Start Before Management

Ugh. This really puts the cherry on top of my shitty week.

I go to bed really early (7PM) because I need to be up at 4AM. I wake up at 11PM yesterday drenched in sweat and have been awake since. I'm due to start in 15 minutes and have been trying to find someone to call since three-ish. I don't think anyone's in until 8AM.

The fuck do I do?

Been there, done that, "fed the fish"...

First week of the new job and I have the flu. A very nasty flu. Well, you don't call in sick the first week of work so I go in. I look like death warmed over and expect they'll send me home. Nope.

Work all week dragging my heels. Infect about half the office with this.

To this day there are still people who haven't forgiven me. But management could and should have sent me home and didn't. Blame THEM!

I was expecting a call from Manajerk but nothing. Maybe they didn't even notice.
