I had this all typed up two days ago and then my internet decided it didn't like me
Anyway, I work in a pharmacy. We sell other stuff besides medicine, and the past week or so, we've had live plants (bamboo and the like in little pots) for sale by the front register. A woman (W) and her daughter come up to the register, but get sidetracked by the plants. They ooh and aah for a while, then bring three of the bamboo plants up to the register.
W: "Are these all the same?"
Me: "They are all the same price, yes ma'am."
Daughter: "I want the one in the black pot." (they are ALL in black pots!!)
W: "No, are they all the SAME?????"
Me:
W: "Are they all going to be the same when I take them home?"
Me: (I couldn't exactly figure out what she wanted me to say) "Well ma'am, they are all live plants, so they will all grow a little different."
W: "Well I don't want them then!" And she and her daughter toddle off.
Why aren't they the SAME?????
