  • Waitress blurts out the truth

I did a search and didn't see this posted already.
I found it yesterday on Upworthy and laughed so hard.

Things we want to say to customers but can't.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

Everyone who ever eats out should have to watch that video. I hope the lady can make her poetry career work, 'cause she's awesome.

Ya know, that trash bag at the end? I wonder if that's Cranky . . .

That's why I'm always really nice to waitstaff. It's not the nicest job around, you're always on your feet, and people have the most unrealistic expectations of you.
The report button - not just for decoration

Agreed. Tip well, don't make lots of demands and don't leave a mess. It's good manners.

I wish there was a way to make the job easier on waitstaff. I mean, they shouldn't have to carry half a dozen scalding hot plates on their bare arms. And I know every restaurant has different practices; some let the waitstaff use serving trays or leave water pitchers with the diners, but there should be something across the board.
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.
