Default helicopter crash caught on film

Note: no serious injuries to the crew

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5aMT...feature=g-vrec

What happened: Crew in NZ was building up a "christmas tree" by stringing cables to a large scaffolding. The man recording had 2 cameras in use - one in his paws and a static camera set up to capture wide-angle video. The second camera caught the crash and what caused it.

It looks like one of the crew pulled on the first cable to tighten it up... and it got tangled with the helicopter's rotors. The ass end of the copter was sheered off, and the blades got fouled and ripped off the top. While it dropped like a bag of rocks.

surprisingly, no serious injuries. The copter's pretty much as useful as a bag of dicks now (save for maybe the radios etc). But seriously, no one on the ground got hurt and the pilot looks like he was just knocked out a bit, but then was able to be walked off.
