Not a sucky customer, but just something really strange that happened to me, and upon relating my story to my friend, she encountered one just yesterday.

My office building is across the street from one of Our Fair Cities buildings where they process criminals and hold trials.

I was outside, enjoying the weather and killing myself (having a smoke), when a rather nice looking, clean-cut and well-dressed gentleman came up and asked if he could buy a smoke from me.

I replied that he couldn't buy one, but that I would gladly give him one.

He thanked me kindly, and before walking away, remarked, "This is great - a free cigarette and I was facing 9 months in jail, but the cops didn't show up! I'm free to go!".

I just shake my head, finish my smoke and go up to my office.

I relate this story to my friend and she looked at me puzzled. "Didn't you hear what that guy said to me yesterday when I gave him a smoke while we were outside?". (We're both generous )

"Nope - he was speaking kinda quiet and I didn't quite catch it."

"He said - "Thank's for the smoke. It's probably the last I'll have for a while. I'm going to turn myself in now".

    Wow - Just Wow!
No... Just No! And I mean it this time!
