Anyone with recent B&B work experience?

I'll be staying two nights at a private Inn in a couple weeks. As near as I can tell, there are two innkeepers and three additional staff. What's the tipping etiquette for maid/personal assistance services?
I've read that the Innkeepers aren't supposed to be tipped, but non-relative support folks are. How much per night?

It depends on local customs mostly. I know most private Inn in my area never get tipped, but it might be different for other places in the world.

I'd probably leave 2-3 bucks a day w/ a short 'Thank you' note.

That's what Mrs TGK usually leaves for all lodging be it a B&B or a cheapo roadside place, FWIW.
